of the Utter wagon train. He has
written an excellent book called
The Utter Disaster on the Oregon
Trail. In addition, he has led
several expeditions sponsored by
I-OCTA, the Idaho Historical
Society, and the Owyhee County
Historical Society covering the
relevant sites of the Utter wagon
train and the survivors of the
attack. These outings are
captivating as Don tells the stories
of the events and the people.
